One of my all time favorites include pies that are made with Vermont maple syrup. Below, you will find a dozen recipes for some delicious pies that are sure to delight everyone. In addition to the pies below, here are even more great Vermont maple syrup recipes for you to enjoy!

  1. Maple syrup pie: Preheat your oven to 425°F. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/4 cups of maple syrup, 3 large eggs, 1/4 cup of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into a pre-made pie crust and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350°F and continue baking for an additional 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  2. Maple Pecan Pie: Combine 1 cup maple syrup, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a bowl. Pour the mixture into a pie crust and bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
  3. Maple Bourbon Pie: Mix together 1 cup maple syrup, 3 eggs, 2 tablespoons bourbon, 1/4 cup melted butter, and 1/4 cup heavy cream. Pour the mixture into a pie crust and bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
  4. Maple Custard Pie: In a saucepan, bring 1 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup milk, and 1/2 cup heavy cream to a boil. In a separate bowl, beat 3 eggs and 1/4 cup sugar. Slowly pour the hot syrup mixture into the eggs, stirring constantly. Pour the mixture back into the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Pour the custard into a pre-made graham cracker pie crust and refrigerate until set.
  5. Maple Pumpkin Pie: Combine 1 cup maple syrup, 1 cup pumpkin puree, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg in a bowl. Pour the mixture into a pie crust and bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes.

Top with whipped cream before serving.
  10. Maple Nutmeg Pie: Combine 1 cup maple syrup, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in a bowl. Pour the mixture into a pie crust and bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
  11. Maple Bacon Pie: Arrange 6 slices of cooked bacon in the bottom of a pie crust. In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup maple syrup, 3 eggs, and 1/2 cup milk. Pour the mixture over the bacon and bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
  12. Maple Pecan Pie: This classic pie is made with a filling of maple syrup, pecans, and eggs, baked in a pie crust. To make the filling, whisk together 3 eggs, 1 cup of maple syrup, 1/2 cup of melted butter, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of pecans. Pour the mixture into a pie crust and bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes, or until the pie is set and the crust is golden brown.
