The Great Vermont Maze Dead North

The Great Vermont Maze DEAD NORTH – Farmland of Terror, located in Danville, Vermont, will be closed in 2023 due to weather damage to several of their haunted buildings for massive remodeling. 2023 would have been their 22nd year of terror but several Dead North buildings have suffered weather damage and need repairs.

Each maze has a separate entrance and access to both mazes is included with each entrance ticket. There are 12 numbered stations hidden within the two mazes, six stations in each maze. Each contains an individually shaped paper punch so that maze runners can punch their cards to track their progress through the maze. Those who successfully complete the two mazes can turn in their punch cards to become eligible for a grand prize drawing as well a number of other prizes, such as gift certificates, iTunes and gas cards, at the end of the season.

Haunted Gaines Farm, Guilford, Vermont

The Halloween double-thriller that everyone is talking about – the haunted attractions on the Gaines family farm in Guilford, Vermont. Each autumn, the Gaines Farm mows paths through seven acres of 10-foot corn stalks to create a corn maze. Visitors can try to find their way out of the maze or stay for a Haunted Hayride. However, they must make it out before nightfall, when the field becomes infested with ghosts and ghouls. The farm also offers other attractions like a jumbo jumper and corn cannon. The annual corn maze provides fun for all ages during the fall season.

By day, Gaines Farm operates like any other family farm in the area. But when darkness falls in October, the property transforms into a terrifying haunted attraction known as Vengeance in the Valley.

As fog rolls over the fields and forests, an unnatural chill permeates the air – a cold forewarning that the dead are stirring. The usually welcoming bonfire now crackles with ominous sounds, providing little comfort or warmth. Those brave enough to venture from its safety must tread carefully into the woods, where tormented souls wait to share the grim details of their demise.

Some may find brief solace aboard the haunted hayride, as the tractor rambles down shadowy paths. But there is little escape from the angry spirits who emerge screaming for retribution. The corn maze provides the ultimate test of courage, as it becomes the devil's torture chamber with nowhere to hide. Twist after twist leads to dead ends, disorientation, and encounters with the demonic beings who've waited all year for fresh victims.

This is no mere Halloween attraction with costumed performers. Here the vengeful un-dead are very real and intend to teach mortals a lethal lesson. Can you face your darkest fears and escape their wrath? Or will the Valley of the Dead become your final resting place this Halloween?
