Aquafest is back!

Newport, Vermont’s premier community summer event takes place in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom. It all starts at Prouty Beach, July 23-26, 2009 with new events, new entertainment and some older events that are back by popular demand such as the Aquafest Bed Races. Events include The NEW Parade of the Pets, Newport’s Got Talent, The Kingdom Swim, a fantastic volleyball tournament, kayak races, live entertainment, children’s events, great food and lots more. Vermont’s North Country Chamber of Commerce, IROC and The Newport City Recreation Department sponsor the event. It’s sure to be fun for the entire family and a weekend to mark on your summer calendar.
